SVALLBARD - SPITSBERGEN In the summer of 2013 theatre director Maureen Klijn and I will be spending a month on Svallbard, a Norwegian island close to the polar circle. More to come about this project.
The Ghost of Christmas past is a series about the colonial history of the Netherlands. I started photographing wajang-dolls in my studio. In the end all former colonies of the Netherlands will be adressed in the series. If you have any objects, artefacts from this time, passed on by ancestors, I would be happy to photograph them.
